Screenshot guides:
1) Read all about torrents here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bit_torrent (basically, the more people downloading [# of seeders + # of leechers], the faster your download will go)
2) Get a torrent client, preferably "Azureus". Google it and download the newest version they have.
3) Install it onto your computer, use all default options.
4) Find a torrent you want at a good torrent-tracker site. I use http://isohunt.com/ .
5) Download the .torrent file; it should be less than a megabyte. You can put it in a folder that's not easily seen when you turn on the computer ;) [IMPORTANT: Always check the ratings and comments before downloading anything.]
6) Open up the torrent client (Azureus) and open the .torrent file, it will start downloading. If you use azureus, the downloaded file would be in My Documents --> Azureus downloads.
FYIs:
- After you start downloading the movie, the download speed will be slow for the first 3-5 minutes, it will become faster. Usually, a movie will take 2-3 hours to download.
- When you are downloading the movie, your computer will be slow to respond to other programs, so don't do anything else on your computer when you're downloading.
- Be safe, don't use torrents to download anything other than movies (like games and other files) they might contain malware.
- Make sure you have a movie player software that can play .avi files. I recommend VLC Media Player. Google it.
That's all, have fun watching movies.
1) Know what type of file your audio/video player will accept.
2) Download “SUPER” - Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer: http://www.erightsoft.biz/GetFile.php?SUPERsetup.exe
3) Install with default options.
4) Open SUPER and select which type of file you want to end up with on the upper-right corner (Video formats: 3gp, asf, avi, fli, flc, flv, mpg/mpeg, mov, mp4, ogg, qt, rm, str, swf, viv, vob, wmv. Audio formats: ac3, amr, mp2, mp3, mp4, ogg, ra, wma). Don’t change anything in the middle two rows (Video & Audio). Then simply drag the file(s) you want to convert inside the bottom box and press “Encode now”.
FYIs:
- A regular 4-minute song can take from 10 to 60 seconds to convert.
- You may change settings in the middle rows ONLY if you know what you’re doing.
1) Download: animator.zip
2) Unzip the folder and read "readme.txt". Keep the contents in the unzipped folder.
[Summary of readme] You have to make each individual frame yourself using a program like MS Paint, save them as JPEG files, put them in the "animator" folder, open the program, press "Stitch", and add the frames.

This is how to get music without paying on iTunes, DLing via torrents/p2p, or getting CDs:
1.) Download the Freecorder toolbar from here http://applian.com/sound-recorder/ (it is safe and the publisher is reputable)
2.) Bring up the Freecorder toolbar in your browser (Firefox, IE, etc)
3.) Go to "settings" and only check "Record From Freecorder Audio Driver". For "Output Format", click "MP3" and switch the bitrate to 192 kbit/s (unless you want to use a different rate). Also, indicate that you want to name the audio file after you record, that way you don't have generically dated audio file in your music folder. You also have the option to redirect where the audio file will be saved. By default it is saved to a folder in "My Documents" called "My Recordings" or something like that.
4.) Now, all you need to do is stream audio from your browser and click "Record" from the toolbar. Click "Stop" when done and you will be prompted with a typing window to name the audio file (assuming you followed the directions above).
FYIs:
Sometimes the toolbar will go weird and not record even if you have audio playing. To fix this, simply exit out of your browser (DO NOT CLOSE THE FREECORDER WINDOW) and then reopen your browser. If the browser says that Freecorder is running but really isn't simply go to task manager and end process Freecorder.exe (it should take up about 5,000k memory. If that is a concern, it shouldn't be since your average browser uses close to 180,000k memory).
If you dislike browser toolbars due to them taking up screen space, I recommend Audacity. It has a sound card recording function and many other functions. However, Audacity can only record in WAV format, you can use SUPER as an MP3 Encoder.
